Rowling never looked back and she published a series of seven Harry Potter books. A sequel, Harry
Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, was released in July 1998. The third instalment in the series, Harry
Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, was released in December 1999. Released simultaneously in the
United Kingdom and the United States, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was released on July 8, 2000.
This particular novel sold 372,775 copies on its first day of release in the UK and broke all sales records
